Cardiology consultation

Assessment of your symptoms, medical history and cardiovascular risk factors. Depending on your situation, the consultation may include an ECG, echocardiogram or other targeted tests.

Electrocardiogram (ECG)

A quick, painless recording of the heart's electrical activity. It assesses the rhythm, electrical conduction and certain cardiac abnormalities at the time of the consultation.

Echocardiography

A non-invasive, painless ultrasound examination to assess heart function, the heart chambers, valves and certain measures of blood flow and pressure.

Holter ECG: 24 to 72 hours

Continuous recording of the heart rhythm during everyday life. It looks for intermittent arrhythmias in patients with palpitations, faintness or an abnormal ECG.

24-hour blood pressure monitoring

Automatic blood pressure measurements throughout the day and night help confirm hypertension, identify a white-coat effect and assess treatment effectiveness.

Sleep apnoea and the heart

Screening and assessment of the risk of sleep apnoea and its cardiovascular effects, particularly with hypertension, atrial fibrillation, snoring or daytime sleepiness.

Vascular Doppler ultrasound

A non-invasive ultrasound examination of arterial or venous circulation to look for narrowing, obstruction or abnormal blood flow.

The Port-Royal cardiology practice is located at 8 rue Fustel-de-Coulanges, Paris 5, near Port-Royal, Cochin Hospital and Val-de-Grâce.

About us

Founded in 2018, the practice is close to Port-Royal RER station. We provide community cardiology care: consultations, ECG, Holter monitoring, cardiac ultrasound and personalised follow-up.

The team works with the local professional health community (CPTS) in the 5th arrondissement and neighbouring CPTS networks to help local patients access cardiology tests.

Our approach is based on up-to-date practices recognised by the medical community, aiming to provide each patient with an accurate diagnosis, suitable treatment and ongoing follow-up.

The practice is an independent private practice, separate from any hospital institution.
